I want to see simple application in saas appdynamics console and also want to see Browser/Mobile real user monitoring metrics for that app. Can anybody help me on this.

Hi,

Actually, my application is standalone exe (for example HP sitescope tool installed in dev server). Can we add this standalone exe application in saas appdynamics and get the browser real user monitoring metrics in saas appdynamics for that standalone exe.

Now i Tried with Demo application "https://github.com/Appdynamics/SampleApp" .

As per the above link procedure, i strucked with this step. After enter this command " docker exec -it rest install-appdynamics; docker exec rest start-all" ,    i am getting the below error: 

Error: OCI runtime exec failed: exec failed: container_linux.go:348: starting container
process caused "exec: \"install-appdynamics;\": executable file not found in $P
ATH": unknown

Can any body help me on this error.

Hi I'm not versed in docker containers, but the error you describe, which is a prereq to instrumenting your standalone exe, sounds like you are missing something in the configuration of your docker container.

You can instrument standalone exes, but you will need to modify your code to explicitly call appdynamics agent SDKs. - for example C++ https://docs.appdynamics.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=42583436
