Users running low on Events Service disk space may see an impact on production monitoring. These users may wish to delete historical data to recover disk space, when adding more space is not an option.

 

 
Beginning with version 4.3, the Controller has visible analytics data retention settings that are available to the user. In the Controller UI, click Admin Portal, then Accounts and then Account Settings.

Users can reduce the number of days in the Transaction Analytics Data Retention Period, and the data beyond those days will be purged.

 

This purging does not take affect immediately. The Controller schedules a job to do this daily at 2 AM PST.
