Hi All,

As AppDynamics announced that they will stop accepting network connections utilizing TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols from April 1 onwards. Is there an option to get extension for particular servers, which are still using TLS 1.0 and 1.1 from AppDynamics .

We still have some servers that uses older TLS versions.

Regards

Fadil

Hi @Fadil.CK,

If you have not seen this yet, we have published this information on our AppD Docs site: https://docs.appdynamics.com/paa/en/appdynamics-end-of-support-notices/end-of-support-notice-disabli...

Let me know if this helps answer your questions.

Thanks @Ryan.Paredez  for the update.

I have one more query regarding this, We have DB agents and the SQL servers are still using TLS 1.1 and 1.0. Can this affect the DB metrics reporting to AppD.

Hi @Fadil.CK,

Good question, let me look into this. I had to edit my reply here because the info I shared before might be incorrect.

Hi @Fadil.CK,

After inquiring about your question, someone from our Ops team did an SSL scan for Agent traffic on both of your instances and they didn't see anything reporting for TLS 1 and 1.1.

Was this just a hypothetical question?
