Hi Thomas, If you already have a PFX file with the private key and the personal cert and the chain, then you should be able to just move straight to step 2 in the instructions documented here . keytool -importkeystore -srckeystore <.pfx> -srcstoretype pkcs12 -destkeystore keystore.jks -deststoretype JKS .p12 and .pfx are both PKCS #12 files. Please do make sure that you change the password for the private key so that it is the same password as the keystore as outlined in step 8. In case you do want or need to convert certificates, please see the link here which covers how to convert certificates of varying formats. Regards, Sam

Hi Nandy.S, The AppDynamics Java Agent requires a valid controller-info.xml file to be present with the correct filename in the agent installation directory (conf and verXXX/conf directories). We do not have a method of specifying a different file name for this configuration file, so trying to install the agent with a different named .xml configuration file is not supported. However, you can specify the java agent configuration properties other ways, such as using environment variables or java system properties. Please see the links below which cover these topics in detail: https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Install+the+Java+Agent https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Java+Agent+Directory+Structure https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Java+Agent+Configuration+Properties https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Use+Environment+Variables+for+Java+Agent+Settings https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Use+System+Properties+for+Java+Agent+Settings https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Automate+Java+Agent+Deployment Regards, Sam

Hi M.Naga, The AppDynamics On-Premise 4.5.X Controller can only be installed using the Enterprise Console (EC), as that is the supported installer for the platform. We did have a separate Controller installer in the past (v4.1 - v4.3), however the latest version, 4.5, can only be installed using the EC as the Controller binaries come bundled with it. The Enterprise Console is used for installing, updating, configuring, and managing the AppDynamics Controller as well as the Events Service. Please see the links below for more details: https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Enterprise+Console https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Controller+Deployment Regards, Sam
