Users who want to increase or decrease the default metric registration limits for Machine or Application Agents can configure the maxMetrics property.

Note: Changing these limits can affect the resource consumption of your deployment. Before you change this setting, verify your application environment and Controller can handle the increased resource requirements.

Navigate to the Machine Agent directory on Windows machine.
Execute the following command in a machine terminal or command prompt:
- InstallService.vbs "-Dappdynamics.agent.maxMetrics=10000"
