Hi Ganesh

Is this a SaaS AppDynamics instance?

If you can see the beacon being sent, to which URL is it sending?

Most cases is that your AppD SaaS Controller e.g is hosted in the EMEA DataCentre, and you are sending  the beacon to the America's DataCentre. They use different URL's.

You can check the URL's at the below site and validate that you are sending it to the correct URL

Hello ,

thank you for your response.

Yes its SaaS based controller. https://ham.saas.appdynamics.com/

Requests/ KEY is being sent to http://col.eum.appdynamics.com/eumcollector/beacons

Hi Ganesh

If you ping your controller URL you can see it's in the EMEA DC, which means you are sending the beacon to the incorrect URL.

Update your beacon address hostname in your adrum script from http://col.eum.appdynamics.com

to - http://fra-col.eum-appdynamics.com

You should then see the data:)

thank you . I will make the changes and confirm you.

May i know how to verify beacons URL's with respect to different SaaS controllers.

As we do use other controller and it may help to verify the same.

Hi Ganesh

You can use the following, if you check your controller URL, it will provide name and ip address, and you can kind of determine which region it's hosted on. If you are still unsure you can log a support ticket to AppDynamics and they will provide you with the details of your controller to assist.
