MongoDB : BSON to JSON transformation error

 Hi all,

 We're monitoring MongoDB installed in a windows environment, and are getting the following into the logs on the agent.

 

1 31 Warn ObjectExtension Error transforming BSON to JSON: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.FormatException: ObjectSerializer does not support BSON type 'RegularExpression'.
  at MongoDB.Bson.Serialization.Serializers.ObjectSerializer.Deserialize(BsonDeserializationContext context, BsonDeserializationArgs args)
at MongoDB.Bson.Serialization.IBsonSerializerExtensions.Deserialize[TValue](IBsonSerializer`1 serializer, BsonDeserializationContext context)

 

 Has anyone encountered this, Regular Expression is listed as a valid BSON type  looking at MongoDB:s documentation.
