I was able to log into controller yestereday, but today, the same link below returns 500 error.
http://localhost:8090/controller/
Windows services below are running, no errors on log files
AppDynamics Controller Application Server
AppDynamics Database
appdynamicsreportingservice.exe
I upgraded 4.3.8.2 to 4.3.8.5 in the hope that it will work, which fails as well.
Controller 4.3.8.2/5, on premise, windows 7,

I see below error in the server.log
Exception during lifecycle processing org.glassfish.deployment.common.DeploymentException: Error in linking security policy for controller -- Inconsistent Module State

We do see the below log messages under server.log file.
