"My first question was for the consumer application, is the producer app shown as incoming app on the consumer app or there is no flow at all?"
I re-organised them. Both Producer and Consumer are shown on Flow Map, but the queue is NOT shown, and no connection between Producer and Consumer.
What should I do to make IBM MQ appear, and connect both Producer and Consumer.
"not the JMS queues but the Message Queues, you should check under App > Configuration > Transaction Detection > .NET > Message Queues."
Do you mean I need to add Rules under Transaction Dectection tab, like on the screenshot attached? If so, can you please provide more info?

Yes, the queue is shown up for Producer that puts messages to the queue. However, the queue is not shown up for Consumer that takes messages off the queue.
"You may also want to confirm that JMS transaction detection is enabled under Instrumentation > Transaction Detection."
Is JMS transaction valid for me? I am using .NET.

I have a Producer that puts message to IBM MQ queue, both of which are shown on Flow Map. Based on Remote Service Detection this it is correct, because MQ should be automatically discovered by AppDynamics Agent. However, the same queue is not shown on Flow Map for Consumer that takes messages off the same queue.
System info:
Producer, and Consumer: ASP.NET WebAPI, OWIN, hosted as Windows Service
.NET: 4.5.2
IBM Webshere MQ 8
AppDynamics Controller 4.3.8.5
AppDynamics Agent 4.3.8.2
Any idea?

Further to my previous post, both Producer and Consumer are setup as Application in AppDynamics, each of which is displayed separatly on dashboard, and both are not connected via the queue. That is, when Consumer app is clicked and displayed on Dashboard, only the Consumer is displayed. I want to display Consumer, Producer, and queue with connected lines, whenever either Consumer or Producer is displayed on Dashboard.

I need to display connections for below on dashboard:
between Producers and Queues
between Consumers and Queues.
Currently, no lines (dotted or solid lines) are connecting them. Producer sends messages to queue, Consumer reads message from the queue.
Info on the apps:
Both producer and consumer are ASP.NET WebApi using OWIN hosted via Windows Services.
Queue is using IBM MQ
Controller: 4.3.x on premise for .NET
Agent: 4.3.x on premise for .NET

I was able to log into controller yestereday, but today, the same link below returns 500 error.
http://localhost:8090/controller/
Windows services below are running, no errors on log files
AppDynamics Controller Application Server
AppDynamics Database
appdynamicsreportingservice.exe
I upgraded 4.3.8.2 to 4.3.8.5 in the hope that it will work, which fails as well.

Hi,
I need to setup email configuration in my local dev environment so Alert can send email.
The setup requires the info below. However, my company might NOT have the information.
SMTP Host:
SMTP Port:

I wonder if it is possible let AppDynamic save email to a folder in my hard drive, like STMP Email service in IIS, or if there is a better way.
The problem is that I cannot get the email setup working.
