Hello everyone,
In the coming weeks, we’re rolling out badges that celebrate your engagement and successes in the Community.
We think these colorful icons will be a fun way to share how you contribute and elevate conversations here. We hope they give you a spark of enjoyment in tracking your own contribution, and in noticing what other members have offered.
In the future, we may hold badge-related programs, like interviews, small gifts, and other recognition.
What are badges?
We’re referring to icons that showcase your community activity, especially activities that enrich the community and encourage others to respond. You’ll see incremental badges for activities like creating forum posts, accepting solutions, and giving and receiving kudos.
How will I know what badges I have earned?
Once badges go live, you will receive emails for each badge earned. The emails will include the badge image and a fun description for each one. Each badge and its increment earned comes with its own email, so we will be rolling out badges in phases to avoid overwhelming your inbox.
You’ll also be able to see badges on Community profiles—whether yours or other member profiles.
