Oracle EBS Monitoring in AppD

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

My organization has a set of business application that needs to be automated. We would like to have a Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) to automate ERP, CRM and SCM processes within the organization. Can anyone confirm if AppD supports Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite)?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Mahesh.shukla

I do not see any exceptions as of now and also this is not out of box environment as per docs below for listed application module.
https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO21/Java+Supported+Environments

However, Going through forum links this looks to be JRE runtime and some modules runtime java based, let us know if any disconnect, so my suggestion is below:
1. Configure -javaagent on EBS module that have runtime as JRE as per docs https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO21/Install+the+Java+Agent
2. Check if business transactions shows up in UI out of the box for requests like Servlet, struts, JMS, if requests are non-standard then user can define POJO rules using below docs specs on "transaction detection" in Ui to monitor target class and method as BTs, I hope that information helps.
