How to re associate an app agent

Hello,

I would like to reassociate two app agents to another application. These agents were associated to a different application before and now I would like to associate them to another application. Even though I have added new application name in the controller-info.xml file of the agents (apache and node.js) they are still pointing to old application. Even if I delete the old application name and these agents from the controller, they are reappearing with the old application name. Agents were restarted as well but no luck. Do I need to bounce the application? How to address this issue?

AM I right in saying deleting the node from Appdynamics agents(admin tab) and then change the config?

 You will need to change the config ( as you have done) and restart the application.
