Hi Team,
I have configured a database alert with http request template, When an alert is raised http action failed giving the following error:
Action Exception: Executing HTTP action "Critical alerts action" with template "Critical alert HTTP request template" sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
could you please help me resolving this.

Hi Arun,
By the looks of things you are trying to send an alert to a HTTPS server that is using a certificate that has not been signed by one of the main Certification Authorities - is it perhaps self signed?

Hi Mark
Thanks for replying.
Yes, it is self signed, is there a way to bypass this.

Hi Arun,
If you have an on-prem controller, I would have suggested trying to add the certificate to the keystore of the server. It looks like someone else has run into this problem, tried to do this, then had subsequent problems. You could perhaps try something similar?
