Yeah that makes sense indeed. If I don't have too many WCF operations (and I don't in my case) this would really work. Thanks a lot.

Anybody knows how to find out what is the actual WCF operation name, when we have a custom detection rule which groups a bunch of operations together if they are a part of the same service? For instance, let's say we have WCF service called appd. It has a bunch of operations called op1, op2... Automatic rule will create a single BT for each of the operations and name them like "appd.op1", "appd.op2" etc. If we create a custom detection rule to include all of them in a single BT, we will end up with a single BT that will, say, have a name "appd operations". Here comes the issue now. After this new, single BT is created, I am not able to again see the operation names. Cannot find that possibility. I would like to somehow display these op1, op2... and so on... names so I can check few things. Tried in snapshots, look everywhere, it looks like the only way to again fetch these operation names is to delete the custom rule and revert back to auto detection rule. Any ideas?

Just want to confirm that the issue has been resolved from 20.10 controller version. Hope someone would find this information useful.

Well, I just tried it quickly and it so happened that we did not have to use it after all. The customer requirements changed and because of that I didn't investigate further.

Claudia, It still gives 404 error. Did you try it yourself before posting? Or maybe it has something to do with AppDynamics' internal user privileges. No matter what, it's not working for me.

Already opened the case and already got a first answer. 🙂 "Looks like we have already this bug reported and engineering team already working on it. Ref: SVCMON-827" As soon as I get an update I will post it here.

I can happily confirm the problem is solved. They have upgraded this controller a day ahead and now the version is 20.6.2-2288 . This is even newer version than the one reported working fine in the previous post. Anyway, to summarize, maybe you should update the bug fixes list and write that this is fixed from 20.6.1 instead of 20.6.0.

Great, that makes sense. Hopefully 20.6.1 solves it. I will report on Friday how that looks in our environment, so Ryan can precisely give the information to everybody about the version.

Probably it depends on what 20.6.x version it is... Right now our customer is on 20.6.0-2184 and it does show. Each time I pick the app dashboard menu. But I have received a notice about a Thursday upgrade to the newest version - maybe this will fix it. Can you tell me what is the version you are using, please?

This looks like a bug in the new version 20.6. On every flow map in the dashboard or in the snapshot, I keep seeing "ui:ms_transactionExitPointType_null" appearing on the link between the tiers. Does anybody know why is this happening?
