Is there a way i can extract list of all the nodes along with their user agent version , JVM version and other details as shown in the "TIERS & NODES View" on a controller to an excel or PDF or any other which can be used for some reporting or filtration
I have a host which only has access to the npm default registry (i.e., it's not open to the Internet).
During the `npm install` I get error while fetching appdynamics sub-dependencies:
The best way to accomplish an offline install is to package up an archive of the package folders, then simply transport them from the node_modules folder on the build machine to the node_modules folder on your app server.
There's one tricky bit which is that the npm user-agent on the build machine needs to match the one on your target server. You can ensure this by using this pair of commands:
Please let me know if you have any issues with this workflow.
I'm currently using the proxyless (libagent: true) version of the NodeJS. I'd like to know if any of the 6 dependencies the "appdynamics" module uses could be ignored:
I'd guess the jre and proxy are unnecessary. What about the others? How can I be sure of this?
Thanks in advance,

It's safest to leave them in place for now. We have long terms plans to eliminate the old code at some point, but currently there may be unintended impact to removing them. However, if you're feeling bold and need to space savings, probably you can remove the jre subdependency.
Is it possible to export Events data to external feeders for further data mining? How to do the same? What all capabilities does Events API provides in terms of Events data export and publishing in another feeder or data sources?
Yes there is a capability to export analytics data to a file if you want, using which you can extract this data and use it as you like. You can do it using the the export option in the dashboard or using the Events api. Please find below the link for same:
"Request agent logs" is used to get future logs data? or can we use this to get past data?
I need agent log file from last 2 days. How can I get it? using "Request Agent log Files"
It creates agent.<Date_Time>.0.log which can grow max upto 20 MB and other agent related log files will be rolled up automatically. So if your agent is running continuously from last 2 days the log will be rolled up.
It will start collectiong logs once you click on the request button but there is no way to get the log for past 2 days as you can only configure the mode and the duration it should collect the log.
Hope it clarified your query.
The PHP agent on AWS starts but it doesn't register ourself on "AppD SaaS Trial Solution".
The firewall is any-any
The IP is a static "Elastic IP"
The same procedure not on AWS works

It looks like the agent is started properly, but it hasn't yet seen even one request to the PHP server. Could you drive some load and re-send the logs if the data doesn't show up on the UI within 5 minutes?
Is there a configuration parameter to enable verbose logging for the Golang agent ?
Have attached a simple code which created few BTs and logs complete trace info in the logs which reside in the default path.
Please note that this code is only for your reference.
Could someone please let me know -
1. The licensing model For Universal Agent.
2. Does one Universal Agent installed takes up 1 License ? (similar to 1 Runtime Agent License)
3. Is the License included in existing plan if we have never used UA but are using Runtime Agents already or we need to expllicitly purchase UA
I installed php agent.
I saw the list of agents.
The unique host ID was an IP address.
I have set up a host name.
Why does not the unique host ID become the host name?
The changes you did were absolutely fine and at the moment this is the only way to provide a custom unique host id with the PHP agent.
Please let us know in case of any issues with this.
