What can I expect from the AppDynamics Community?

First off, it's important to remember that this is a peer-to-peer community. Member knowledge-sharing is very important to its health and growth. You can expect most questions, commentary, and answers to come right from community members—you and your peers.

So please share what you're exploring and what you know across the Community:

  • Ask questions in your own posts, or in others' discussion threads
  • Raise a point of clarification under Knowledge Base articles
  • Share one of your top AppD tips in the Share a Tip space
  • Make suggestions or vote on features in the Idea Exchange

NOTE | The Idea Exchange is accessible by AppDynamics customers under contract who have used their credentials to sign in

TL;DR: If you have knowledge, insight, or personal experience you think could help others, share it in the Community

Is everything peer-to-peer?

Many parts of the Community do rely on peer-to-peer interaction.

However, there are also Community areas where we provide expert information, like:

  • Knowledge Base articles
  • News and Announcements blog posts
  • Group content

Do you have content in mind that would be helpful to the Community? Please get in touch with Claudia.Landivar or Ryan.Paredez so we can work together to get it posted.
