We’ve been working on Community upgrades for a while now. This release includes an improved and modern style, geared toward greater usability of the content and the interactions you depend on. This update is just the beginning, with more enhancements coming soon.

Community Home page announcement tiles
One thing you will notice right away is the set of 3 new tiles on the Community home page. Here, we will present relevant and helpful information—from thought leadership, events, products and services, news and offerings, and much more. Be sure to keep an eye on them for current and meaningful content.
Discussion Forum topic updates
We’ve made a few changes to our Discussion forum, topics, topics better reflect Community needs. We’re also looking for your input, as well as preparing for more changes ahead.

We recently retired the “Latest Release” topic area. Instead, just post in the most relevant topic area.

Where you can find your notification, private messages, and profile information
There are some small adjustments to your notifications feed, private messages, and Community profile, located on the right side of the navigation bar.
Notifications feed now under the bell
Click the bell icon to see your notifications at-a-glance.
TIP | You'll get notifications about content you’ve created, kudos you’ve received, rankings you’ve attained, and more
Improved Private Messages experience
Your Community private messages have a streamlined new inbox, including threaded conversations. Click the envelope icon to the right of the navigation bar to access them.
Profile drop-down options have changed slightly
Your AppDynamics Community profile now includes the following options:

You can also manage these, including how you want to be notified when there is activity on these topics.

A personal dashboard with your ongoing Community participation. Post and replies, kudos given and received,…

Centralized controls for your Community account. Besides the usual profile name, email address, and password, you can also set your avatar, notification preferences, and more.
