Tracing functions and Database - .NET Core Web Applications

We have a .NET Core 2.2 ASP.NET Web application. It has some Database calls too.! I read in some of the AppDynamics documents that .NET Core supported. But when i install the AppDynamics agent and report it to the controller, i couldnt see any transactions count even in the controller.

Do AppDynamics really support Web Applications developed in .NET Core 2.2 ? If so should i need to make additional changes in the web application's project to get it profiled?

Finally I am looking for some solution of getting the transaction snapshots(funtion execution times)  similar to that of .NET Framework. Is that possible in .NET Core Web application.?
