Re: Trial installation failed.

Hi,

Could you attach below details.
1. Attach Patform-admin-server.log from platform-admin/platform-admin/logs/ and platform/controller/logs/server.log

2. Output of commands
ps -ef | grep java
ps -ef | grep mysql

Thanks

Re: Trial installation failed.

Hi,

There is no "controller" folder.

It seems the installation failed in the early stage.

You can find the other log file you mentioned as attachment.

And because the installer I used is "platform-setup-x64-windows-4.4.0.4731.exe", I can't provide the output using non-Windows commands.

Thanks for your response.

Re: Trial installation failed.

From the logs:

Property rollbackSupported: false
C:\AppDynamics\Platform\db\db.cnf does not exist. This doesn't conflict with controller installation path
Variable changed: directory_validation_error_msg=[class java.lang.String]

Property rollbackSupported: false
Enterprise Console Application port (9191) not in use: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect
Enterprise Console Application port (3377) not in use: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect
Variable changed: connection_validation_error_msg=[class java.lang.String]

Are you able to get the login page?

Can you search for server.log under your install folder (i think C:\AppDynamics) in this case....

Re: Trial installation failed.

Hi,

I can see a login page via "http://localhost:9191".

And there is no "server.log" in the search result.

Maybe I'll get a standalone PC and try to install on it.

In the meantime, please let me know if there is any suggestion about what I should try or take a look.

Thanks.
