What changes must be made to the Controller due to Server's IP address change?

When changing the IP address of a Controller Server, note the following:

• If there are no references to IP address in the domain.xml file (other than 127.0.0.1) then there is no change needed in this file.
  
  
• Within the /etc/hosts file, if there is IP mapping other than 127.0.0.1, remove the old IP and add the new.
  
  
• If Agents are connecting to the Controller via IP address, update the IP address in the Agent config file.
  • It is generally recommended to use DNS/CName instead of IP address for this reason.
    
    
• If the MAC address has changed, download a new license file with the new MAC address.
