Can we use EUM to monitor the end user experience in Browser without instrumenting the server side application ?
We can use the end user experience without instrumenting the server side application with application agent. However there will be no backend co-relation for browser eum data.
Browser EUM needs java script agent only to be instrumented in application pages. The application agent, after enabling the EUM adds additional data to the served pages for corelating the back-end transaction with page requests. In absence of this information only the co-relation part will miss however the rest of the end user monitoring will work as expected.
