Diagnosis

The issue occurred because the install command was run without using the Administrator Privilege, therefore you need to start the command prompt as an administrator.

Solution

To start a command prompt as an administrator:

  1. Click Start >All Programs, and then click Accessories.

  2. Right-click Command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

  3. Run the events-service install command, then the installation will succeed.
