SQL/Tomcat/AWS Connection Times

Using AppDynamics, how can I see the following

1. Time to open of connection to the database
2. Time to just run the SQL
3. Time to close the connection

 

I'm trying to get this information to see where the bottleneck is.  Developers are saying the environment is slow, whereas infrastructure is saying its Application.
