Aggregate Data from Method Invocation Data Collectors, Count Method Invocations or Similar

Dear all,

in our app we have some

-> (bt) business transactions which

---> do invoke a varying number of times a method (m)

-----> querying and fetching a varying amount of data from the database.

The number of rows queried is being available via method parameters. We would like to know how often the method was called, and how many rows were fetched from the database in total per transaction, so if the

bt calls m(10), m (15), m(20), we would like to have m_total 45 in the bt view.

Alternatively we might consider counting the calls to ResultSet.next(), that might also help.

Seems like adding aggregations (sum, count) on the data returned from the Method Invocation Data Collectors is not possible.

How could we achieve the above? Custom java code deployed with the agent?
