Not able to see EUM Browser Data for configured Application in Controller UI

Hi,

 

We have enabled Application for EUM Browser Monitoring but we are not able to see the data from the Controller UI. We have checked the code snippet for javascript agent that is defined and it seems to be fine.

Also as per Application team, we have load on the Application but evenafter that we don't see any data.

Can someone please let us know on this ?

Hi Anant,

 

Are you using an on prem controller and on prem EUM server or EUM cloud? What is your setup like? Is this the first time you are using EUM? Which method of js injection are you using: Manual or automatic or any other?

Well assuming you have a valid EUM license and are uisng correct js injection technique, the first step here would be to confirm that the injection is happening.

- For this access your web page which you have instrumented with js code in a browser and on right mouse click select "view page source". 

- If you can see the ADRUM injected properly, then we need to check the second component, your page beacon.

For checking this, grab a HAR file for this same page and send us so that we can verify if the beacon is going out correctly or if there is a problem in between. 

- In case you are using an on prem EUM server, please send us your EUM server log files for a quick analysis along with the controller server log file.

We are using on prem controller and on prem EUM server.We are using manual injection technique.We have already configured around 5 Applications for Browser RUM Monitoring.

 

PFA required logs for reference.

So you are getting EUM data for the other apps? Did you verify adrum is being injected properly? If yes please share the HAR file so that we can check the beacons.

We are getting EUM data for the other apps. Need to verify adrum and other things with Application team. Will update you.

Hi Chitra,

 

When we browse the web Application, adrum.js request is able to process properly as can be seen from the screenshot .Also PFA HAR file for ref.

 

I have doubt that the becons url which is highlighted is referring to Application - SPT-PC-Advisor-QA where as we have Application SPT-PCAdvisor-QA-UI created in Browser RUM.

We have shared the code with Application team which needs to be injected in there page.I am waiting for Application team to update. Mostly it should be done by next week. Till then please keep the ticket open. Thanks.
