Proxy configuration best practices for Agents(~10,000) communication from multiple DC's to AppD SaaS

Hello Team,

 

We are looking for best practices/guidelines on configuring proxy to communicate with AppD(SaaS) environment.

We have around ~10,000 Machine agents and ~1000 app agents from 5 Data centers need to communicate with AppD(SaaS) in Europe region.

 

Please suggest on using a proxy(Nginx/Squid) with load-balancer(?) configured at each Data Center Or a user proxy Or a forward proxy is a good design ? 

 

A detailed document/information will be helpful to analyze, thanks.
