How to access the Glassfish Admin Console remotely?

Bo.Sun

I read from here that "access to the GlassFish browser interface is limited to local machine access by default".

And that "Secure Admin must be enabled to access the DAS remotely." I didn't quite get how to enable "Secure Admin"?

Hi @Bo.Sun,

Did you check out the User Management Docs page that was linked to at the bottom of the Doc you linked to?

https://docs.appdynamics.com/4.5.x/en/appdynamics-application-performance-monitoring-platform/contro...

Please give it a read and let me know if it helps.

Thanks,

Hi Ryan,

Yes, I read the docs. The problem is I don't have desktop configured on my Linux machine, hence I don't know how to access the console UI on localhost. However I was told we rarely need to make any changes on the console, so I guess I don't need to access the UI for now.

Thanks.

Hi @Bo.Sun,

Thanks for getting back to me and letting me know it's no longer an issue.
