Hi,

I'm looking out for an Auto diagnostics options in APPD. Is it possible to automate the things if we're facing issues in configured application?

EX: If there is an problem with application, can we deploy the remedy steps to follow an automated way to get the fix done by itself?

Hi soundarajan2,

In AppDynamics you can set actions as a result of events.

The action can be email, a custom action uploaded to controller (like extensions for alerts) or you can also run a custom script.

Assuming the problem triggers an event on AppDynamics and the remedy steps can be written into a script, you can do the remedy by selecting the script as your action.
