Health rules are not voilating

Configured helath rule test with simple condition i.e, value of ART(Average Response Time) is > specific value to 5279ms

Also created the policy to trigger helath rule test when value of Average response time exceeds the configured threshold value 5279

 

Issue is we found some instances in perticular Business transaction where ART is more than threshold value. Even though health rule test is not voilating and emails are not triggering.

 

Can anyone please help for the same.

How is you health rule defined? By default it's looking at average over the last 30 min., so there can be indivualt transactions which vioulates, but average can be ok.

My health rule is defined as below,

  • Use last 10 minutes data when evaluting the health rule
  • Enabled for 24*7
  • Condition is defined as lets say for example Specified value is > 5000 ms

I've saw trend analysis report there are couple of business transaction data values exceeded threshold value 5000ms even though my health rule is not voilated.
