This course is intended for AppDynamics platform administrators. As an incoming administrator, you will learn how AppDynamics uses a role-based access control model to assign permissions to users and groups. You will also learn how to manage your company’s users locally or by configuring AppDynamics to use an external Identity Provider (for this course we use a SAML IDP).

License and Account Administration (APM406)

Course duration: 3 hours 

This course is intended for AppDynamics platform administrators. You will learn about the importance of license management in AppD and explore the differences between AppD’s Agent-Based Licensing model and Infrastructure-Based Licensing model.  Later you will tour the License Summary page and create a license rule to manage license usage. Finally, the course will go over migrating from an ABL model to an IBL model and give an overview of the Account Management Portal.
